There's one slight change I'll be making. I'm going to put gaffer tape over the white 'on' light which is rather bright and pesky.

I do! And the gates project is inching forward too. I believe I have accurately conveyed my design preference and now I'm waiting for an install date. It may take a while as supply chains are so very slow due to the pandemic. But for now the hens aren't creeping up the driveway anyway.

Funny thing is, writing it down prompted me to recall we'd been offered two extra days off for coping so well over the last two years of super-high, pandemic-induced stress.

I'll take those days on the 24th and 25th so I can be on chick watch all day
