MJ's little flock

I plan to but I am going to check on Bella and tube feed her if her crop is empty before my breakfast. I also need to get a rug out in the sun to dry. My poor food allergy cat threw up on it and I washed it yesterday but I was too late in the day to get it fully dry before dark and I didn’t want to leave it out overnight in case the mice ate a hole in it (like they did with Bella’s towel).
The sun is just about to come up over the tall trees and will bake it dry I hope.
Nice clean rug waiting for the sun

What a gorgeous rug! I understand your preference for keeping the mice from nibbling it

That is a gorgeous rug. 😍

And today Janet provided her first egg since going on holiday :D so that's three hens back on the lay. The season is turning.

I'm back to my usual hectic worklife today after taking two days carers leave to support my brother while he had his cataract fixed. That feeling of getting nothing done while getting 100s of things done is not my favourite feeling.
I hate that one as well. :hugs :hugs
