Mary hasn't come home. She's having two surgeries tomorrow. One to investigate and hopefully remove a tumour roughly the size of a tennis ball from between and behind her legs. It's been pushing her insides forward and preventing both her digestive and reproductive systems from functioning as they should. The other surgery is to empty her crop which must be done before the tumour can be examined. If the tumour can't be removed, they'll put her to sleep.

Poor old darling :(😢
Oh no! Poor old Mary. I am hoping for the best, and this is for you :hugs:hugs

I hope Mary's surgery is successful tomorrow. :fl :hugs

I'm at the show today and sending this post from the raucous poultry shed! It's amazing!! So much crowing and bokking.

Here are a few little ones I've met today

Probably to late, but immediately wash everything you wore to the show and disinfect yourself and anything else that may have come near the chickens. Shows like this are notorious for spreading diseases.
