Lilly totally just pretended. Hanging out on the nest for hours without laying an egg. No broody clucks or any of that nonsense.

I find it really difficult to keep my hands warm.

Last night had a particularly chilly wind.

I still have fond memories of Lucy after she stopped laying. She'd happen across an egg and have a little sit on it for about half an hour.
