MJ's little flock

Good evening MJ and everyone 😴😊

Lorna and Edie are both up!

Wow. Katie did the most majestic flight up to the branch from a metre away. Incredible. A perfect arc. Brilliantly planned and executed.

They are lovely, I'm so excited for you and Mary finally got her eggs ❤

Trouble is, I always forget to delete the ones that didn't work out. Is it just me or is it a problem for other people too?
I have 16,000 photos on my phone so I guess I must have that problem too!

Having spent that week when I got to go through boxes of old family photos I can tell you that having them as prints or slides didn't stop that issue. I think in theory people could develop the film and then only print up the ones they liked from the negatives - in practice it seems like they all got turned into prints or slides or sometimes both!

I've brought breakfast into the pullet's room and they decided to join me and ate some of their special snacks and had nice long drinks of water. I was going to save the photo for WWKK on Ribh's thread but I'm hoping for a better one by then.

Where I grew up, it wasn't even an option. The film went in one end and an hour later, photos came out the other.

But I'm sure professionals still use film and negatives. Film imbues a sort of dreaminess that digital struggles to reproduce.

Yes. That is what I remember too.
I was going through photos mainly from the 50s, 60s, and 70s and I am not sure what was normal for most of that period.
