I am sad for Ivy. Ivy had been out maneuvered first by Peggy and then by Mary. Poor Ivy.

Just as I'm sad for Phyllis. They both deserve a chance.

Even if Ivy had sat on the eggs instead of Mary, they'd still have been infertile.

She likes Dr Mark! She stood still for him while he examined her little leggies. We didn't have to hold her at all. And she chatted to Peggy in the car. I'm convinced the more trips in the car the hens have, the more they like it.

It's pretty bad. I think we're lucky that we live near a lake rather than a river.
