MJ's little flock

Why is France uptight about using rainwater? Surely if you catch it and store it, you can use it for things like the garden and toilets
I think we are paranoid about not mixing drinkable water, with other types of water.
I checked this morning and the only types of domestic uses allowed are for toilets and cleaning floors inside your house, but there are a number of restrictions. It's forbidden for example to have a rain water tap in the same room as a drinking water tap, and if you have a rain water tap outside you must label it as "non drinkable water" 🙂.
Two cuties relaxing after breakfast.

They both have such interesting feather patterns and colors.
I haven't a clue about Bella/Billy, but I would be surprised if Edie was a he.

I know, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Edie turns out a pullet after all.

The French are far more organised with respect to labelling rainwater than Aussies are. As far as I'm aware, there are no labelling requirements on domestic rainwater.

Hens do not normally have curved tail feathers. It is hard to discern the other signs of a boy like saddle or hackle feathers because they are frizzled.
I saw a picture of a frizzle cockerel this morning and he had the same tail. :( There would be no issue if there wasn't any crowing!
