If anyone can guide me on pain relief for chickens using meds available in Australia, I'd be very grateful.

I can get ibuprofen, aspirin and paracetamol without a prescription.

All three can be used. Now if only I could find where I put the dosage.

Her eye does look very sore .

Quoting RC. It has been discussed recently on Bob's thread.

I managed to get Meloxicam (metacam) without a prescription although it's theoretically not OTC.

Oh well done - I am so not good at keeping things it would have been a search to find my own post - thank you!

The other 7 hens are a-ok.

Day 2 of lincospectin is just starting. Her appointment is Wednesday morning. She's moving slower than usual but eating well and has feisty moments. I wouldn't be surprised if she had a headache.

No. I've only used the treatments Dr Mark prescribes.

Janet's swelling is down a little this morning, but still there, and she seems a little less preoccupied. She scampered after the youngsters without much provocation, so I'm guessing that was mainly to keep them from getting above themselves.
