MJ's little flock

This morning was Jan's last injection. Tomorrow the kefir begins. Saturday morning she has a follow up appointment *cough* I mean driving lesson. She's going to teach me all about reversing around corners, three point turns, and hill starts.
I wish she could come over and give me some driving lessons. I bet even I could learn to drive with such a teacher 🤣
Here is today’s monster egg from Eli. She is half the size of Bernie who lays the dark brown one.
I am traveling right now so the picture was from the lady who comes in to care for the animals. She weighed the big egg as a shade under 3oz. Sigh.
The egg on the upper level with an x on it is the ceramic egg.

When will you be home, RC ? Do you have access to the cameras to see how she is behaving ?

Yes. I can see her on camera. She seems fine. Here she is digging for worms in the sopping wet leaf litter. It has been raining for days it seems.

Not here. It's so dry in Hershey that the yard is cracking. I'm going to run the sprinkler so the grass can start growing faster than the chickens can eat it before I don't have any grass.

Interesting how such a short distance makes such a difference. I am not there but I can see and hear it raining on the cameras and see the water dripping in to their open runs.

Glynda's tail is particularly impressive in that photo!
