I've seen people say "I paid all that money and my pet still died."

I can't even make sense of a comment like that.

Two questions:

Who forced you to pay all that money? Stop sulking over your own decision.

Why do you think your vet can work miracles? Stop blaming the vet for something that couldn't be avoided.

Joyce had her 5th clavulox injection last night but as she's still not entirely healthy but she's definitely improving daily, she starts another round. She's due at the vet in 3.5 hours.

MJ, thought you might be interested that I have another ‘longshanks’ like Bernie.
She is the same breed as Bernie and about the age when Bernie lost the use of her legs.
So far so good but I am introducing a gentle Vitamin B supplement just in case.
She is clearly more leggy than the others.

I am not sure. Possibly. Same breeder and he is small scale - I don't know how many individual breeding chickens he has.
He focuses on only 3-4 breeds and some crosses of those breeds.
I am really hoping she doesn't get the same issue, though I do feel more prepared if she does.

Nearly. Working on it. I couldn’t discuss it with them this afternoon because they were having a nap.

Having a nap does consume a lot of expertise, time and attentiveness. Maybe a discussion about names will occur tomorrow instead.
