MJ's little flock

Ooh, I just dyed a pair of jeans/cargo pants! (Look carefully for in-built chicken tax!) :D

I went out and got drunk! ON PURPOSE! the promise of scotch tastings was too much to resist. but now I don't know what scotches they were...

🤪

I didn't evne have many shotches! Mainly wine.
You will have to taste them all again and take notes!

I went on a walking holiday on Speyside many years ago.
We walked all day from distillery to distillery. My friend and I slept it off in a field and woke up around dusk in a panic about how we would make it all the way back to our lodgings before dark.
She questioned my map reading ability when I pointed out we had only travelled about a mile away in our day long trek, so she insisted on a bus.
It was one stop.

I only just noticed this. You really did have a few too many!
:lau
And I'm fresh as a daisy this morning! When my work life was less hectic, I would be at gig with friends most weekends, drinking, dancing, and talking to the wee hours. Looking back it was a glorious time. Anyway, back then I learned to have berocca and two headache tablets before leaving home, then two more headache tablets on returning home after the night out. No hangovers! And I'm delighted to say it still works :D

Last night was fun. It was a bunch of old mates at a quiz night put on by the workers club. We won except that we withdrew our labour in the last round when the crowd were asked to come to the stage to demonstrate how they call their life partners to dinner, which we found politically offensive for excluding singles, for humiliating both participants and audience, and for being inspired by youtube and thus by algorithms. So we came second.

It's quite a moment when the those with all the answers are trumped in the final moments by people imitating youtube videos!

She was properly bamboozled! :lau
