They may be marauders but I find them both very endearing.
And I know it's subjective, but I also find them beautiful. Maybe because my first chickens looked like these. Vanille will always remain my ideal of chicken beauty.

The latest snacking craze.

I believe the plant is an Aeonium arboreum. I checked two "toxic for chickens" lists and it seems to be in the clear.

Those bright green stems are not flower stalks. They're all that remains of formerly quite large leaves.
