I'll just add that the other six hens are thriving. They've even started enjoying bedtime cuddles from me, which is a first! Katie is the only one who'd rather not, but even she puts up with it. Peggy stands still and makes little happy noises (which I repeat back to her) and leans in. Who knew the Pegasaurus would enjoy an evening cuddle?

It's very beautiful. But I don't think those magazine homes have quite so much poop on the floor. I could be wrong? Maybe they pile it up out of shot?
