Wishing a full recovery for him, it's good that he is improving!
There are very heavy winds blowing. Gusts up to 61km/hr. It's a little unnerving.
Did it calm down ?
As a kid there was a story in my family that my grandfather moved from where he grew up in Marseille because he hated the constant wind, the mistral. I loved wind as a child and I didn't get it. But I totally do now that I live in a more windy place 😬.

How is Christa adjusting now ? Any signs that she will be less bossy to join the other hens ?
Yes, there have been reports of Red Sex Links going broody here on BYC.
I have been thinking more about this, and actually there is a difference between my ex-batts and my hens that went broody : the first are too big to cross our chicken netting so they are confined to an area of about 500 M2, whereas the others can free range (on the property).
Maybe that could be a possible explanation why they never went broody.

It's much calmer now, and I'm relieved.

I worry about the roof blowing off, but it's been fine so far. The constant noise disrupts my tranquility. And the house is from the 1920s so it's not remotely air-tight, on the contrary it was designed and built to breathe, so a windy day pushes a lot of draughts into the house and kicks up any dust. I end up worried, fretful, shivering and sneezing :gig

It seems like two things are going on for her, and they're interconnected.

She's a little perplexed and seeking my company more than usual. She's always underfoot. In her perplexity, her attitude towards the other hens has softened a little. That's very welcome in my opinion, but she has a long way to go before the hens can trust her. I can see them looking sideways at her and wondering which way to run.

I'm also missing Joyce and her cheerfulness. She was a very nice hen once she'd settled in.
