MJ's little flock

I went to see a physio about my shoulder yesterday and now I'm in that state of ooowwwww most physio visits seem to result in. She thought half my problem was work-induced stiffness between the shoulders.

So we've added a new tranche of stretches to my routine, which now goes
Back bends x 10
Side stretches x 10
Balance on 1 leg 10 secs x 2
Balance on 1 leg 10 secs, eyes closed x 2
Shoulder rolls x 10
Neck stretches x 10
Shoulders back and down x 10

Twice an hour, schedule permitting.
This looks like a solid plan to me. Let us know how it works.

Your physio is ambitious on your behalf - that is a lot!
And it reminds me that I have let mine lapse. I am supposed to do a whole routine every time I stand up. Not as ambitious as yours but I must get back to doing them!
You must. Proper stretches make a huge difference.

I've been doing the back and side stretches since my friends tired of me complaining about back pain 8 years ago and made me my first ever physio appointment. It took months of stretches to undo the harm caused by 20 years of seated work. But it worked!

Standing on one leg exercises were introduced by my GP a few weeks back when we discussed the falls I'd taken over the last 12 months. She sent me for an mri and told me how to improve my balance through exercises.

The shoulder and neck stretches are new.

To me, some of the design features were too muted and I simply didn't notice them at all.
Can you guys give some examples. I didn't know there were any features to miss. I just drag pieces around.
The only feature I am now aware of is the scramble thing - which Nightshade showed me, and seems to like using.

You could add ten hops for each leg. I do these and the balance on one leg, good for core strength.
There is a body swing sometimes taught in Tai Chi that is excellent for the spine and loosening the shoulders. It does have a name but I can't remember what it is.

There's the icon to display the full picture, the ghost, the icon to rearrange pieces, and the one to go full screen, all of which had to be pointed out to me.
