It's been hard going for a quite a few months Bob. I need a year or so without too many surprises from the flock.

It may seem crazy but I think maybe Sarah's test will be negative too. She's just so healthy.

I have been and I'm still very strict about it.

I have been choosing to not clean Sarah's coop if there isn't time to do it before my morning shower. I leave it for the next day rather than risk carrying dander to the hens on my clothes at the end of day.

I'm wondering if I've been lucky with the Marek's pathotype. There aren't any tests for pathotype available where I live, only serotype, so there's no way of finding out. But it seems likely Bernadette and Agnes had one of the less virulent Marek's pathotypes.
