MKK Farms. Updates, pics, and stories!

Sure!

Cosette is doing better today. She is more perky and is eating and drinking more. Her poo is also a solid and not runny any more!

But I don't think she is ready to go back to the rest of the flock just yet. Barred rocks are doing well and are laying nicely as well.

YAY!!!

That's wonderful about cosette Mitch!

I am really happy right now but I am still worried because I don't know how well she is actually doing she could be on the brink of death for all I know even though she looks pretty good.

Thank ya. :3 Um, he has got some attitude but thanks to some early BYC help, I've got him trained to NOT attack humans. He is already watchful of his ladies and is very calm when being held. LOL He has got the, "I got food, come share!" call down, but he seems to be confused when he makes it and the other chicks come and 'steal' his food. XD It is QUITE amusing.

Haha! Sounds like a nice chap! :)

Guess what! Today I got a nice bonus to the day, Cosette laid an egg! That makes me think that she is doing a lot better!

The egg wasn't huge but it wasn't a bad size either. The only down side to this egg was that because she was away from the flock it wasn't fertile. Otherwise I would have put it in the incubator. Oh well, I am still happy with my chickens (especially Cosette).
