Barred rocks aren't my favourite breed all though I do like them a lot. I haven't been able to show... Yet.

I myself am partial to Blue laced red Wyandottes, but Wyandottes are top 3 for me. I really like the Blue Isbar and Ameraucanas.

I've got a small mix of birds. Ameraucanas, Black Wheaten and Cuckoo Marans, Barnevelders, and Olive Eggers hatching today.

Chickens are awesome.

This morning I came down stairs to find....


six healthy Barred rock chicks! I had to help the last one he is on the edge of death but I'm hoping he can pull threw.

Sorry I can't post pics for now because I'm going to a poultry show, maybe tomorrow!

Big news!!!!

I got a trio of show quality Faverolles today from a local breeder. I'm so happy!
