The plan for the near future:
I have a general plan for this winter/spring. This winter will be pretty low key. No hatches, No new birds, and probably no selling of birds. The only thing I'm going to do is sell eggs. In the spring, it will be a different story. I'll sell most of my birds to the auction, except my Faverolles and a few Barred Rock pullets. Then I'll get new birds, but not just any birds. I'm going HERITAGE! No hatchery birds and no cross breeds. I'm thinking Wyandottes, Orpingtons, Chanteclers, or something along those lines.
Then I'll breed big time (hopefully).
This is just what I'm thinking about, not necessarily what is going to happen. Please leave comments.

Yeah, for showing...would you use the birds for fitting and showing? In that case bantams would be best. When your doing breeding are you looking to help a rare breed?
