Wow, thanks! I will try to get more pictures of my chickens but I won't be hatching until spring. But when I do hatch, you will get the cuteness overload of your life!

I love little baby chickies!! Can I make a request? Will you post more pics of your rabbit and dog too? That bunny on your porch was adorable!

And your dog is gorgeous! I won't be getting anymore chicks for a while. I have to try to figure out how to move all the animals I have now. I'm moving over 9 hours away from where I live now sometime in early to mid next year and I don't want to try to move babies too. Good news is, my DD has decided she wants to join 4H where we are moving to and they have a program where you pay $60 (I think) and get 25 chicks to raise. You show 4 of them at the county fair in Sept and then give those 4 back to the 4 H to auction off and you keep the rest of them. She wants to do that. I'm hoping we get bantams. I have 3 in my flock and they are the funniest chickens ever! I have 12 chickens all total: 1 BO Roo (Nosy), 1 SLW Roo (Romeo), 1 SLW Hen (Stella), 2 Red Sexlinks (haven't named them yet), 3 Production Reds (Momma, Henny Penny, and Pretty Girl), 2 Cochin Bantam Roos (Fancy Feet and Fluffy Feet), 1 Bantam Hen breed unknown (RoadRunner), and a Silkie Hen (Snowflake). It's gonna be an adventure to get them, the dog, and the 2 cats moved.

I will look forward to seeing your baby chickies when you hatch them. I am thinking of getting an incubator once we get settled. I'd like to hatch some chicks.

Keep up the great thread!!

Yeah!!! Unfortunately, the rabbit passed away a few days ago.

But the dog is still around.

That is one of her puppies. :)

Wow sounds like you have your hands full with all those animals! Good luck on the move. Try and keep us BYCers posted about your progress and your new home. Hope all goes well!

I am looking forward to future chicks too!

You should get an incubator. They are well worth it. I have a little Brinsea Mini Advanced (hatches 7 at a time), and although I can't do big hatches, I can still experiment around and have fun with it (and I do). I love seeing chicks hatch, its one of those great times that go and come so fast!
Thanks for stopping by!
