Quote: Sorry I don't mean to scare you but Barred rock roosters are known for their aggression.I had to sell mine because he was so mean. Thanks for following by the way. You are right chickenpooplady, the top one is a pullet the bottom one is a cockerel. Good Luck!
Anyway, I did give Cosette a bath, with much trouble.![]()
The first part didn't go to badly, I put her in and she was very relaxed and seemed to like being in water.
That was my setup, pretty redneck I know.
She liked it for about thirty minutes. Then she squished out and went free ranging (With out my permission). I went quickly to the house and brought the Epsom salt and put it on her butt/vent while she tried to run away. Well, now she is a mess and has Epsom salt all over her (whoops). So did I do anything wrong? I have never come across vent gleet before so I wouldn't know.Hope she gets better soon.![]()
P.S Sorry that I couldn't get more pics during this "drama", I was rushing so I couldn't get to many good shots.
I'll send you a message later tonight with them, don't want to clog your thread with pics lol - probably won't be till around 8pm by the time dinner rush, shower for the 4yr old and fighting his bed time is over and done withIf you want to post pics maybe I could help.
