Anyway I will give guys an update. I will call it... The half broody hen!


For the past few days this hen (Open to names) has been in the nest everyday. Everyday there are eggs under her and I pick her up move her and collect the eggs. She never pecks, just whines. I am confused about this so I checked for signs of egg binding. Nope not a sign... If you have any ideas that would be great. Until further notice this is a half broody hen! haha. Also, a list of egg binding symptoms would help if anyone has a list like that. :)

Another thing is that four faverolles eggs are due today! So hopefully they will start pushing out soon as they have not shown any signs of that yet.

Are you hatching out some Faverolle eggs? She's probably broody. If you look at her, a hen laying an egg will be looking around at you and other things. Broody hens keep there head down and stays focused. Which is she?
