I've been reading all these pages, patiently waiting for a list for bound up hens!
I purchased 2 Cochins from another BYC member humphreyfarms on the 6/13/13. She claims they were born 5/18/12 and they still have not laid one egg! Before they could be w/ my girls I would put them in a tractor during the day time so they could have some grass but the tractor has a nesting box. I've even fixed up fencing to let them walk around in the grass for a 15 x 20 ft sq. that they can get to there nest (should I even call it that at this rate). There not broody, can't lay eggs in the woods cuz there contained. Has boxes w/ hay and boxes w/ shavings, eats well, loves the scratch or boss when I toss that out. Put it this way their like Beagles, they love to eat. There also w/ my girls now and they lay green/blue eggs as there Americana's

All my other babies are still to young, they were born beginning thru mid March so I'm looking forward!!
So I have 2 questions


1. Where's that list
2. What's holding them up?
