I haven't been on much but everything (for the most part) is fine. The chickens are having lots of fun outside but they just won't start laying!
The fall chill is coming upon us now so the chickens need to get their fun in, right?

My bantam girl (we lost one of them)...the roo is chasing her around more and more the past couple weeks. I think she'll start laying fairly soon; I hope so anyway. lol

Mostly, they're good. My layers went through a molt and are all back to laying (and playing musical nesting locations). One of my pullets started laying, the other better start before I have to start feeding them for the winter; the only chicken I feed w/o expecting eggs is Eddie! My big chicks are doing alright; I have 8 left from the original 17, but they're doing well. I'm doing better with the little chicks, but I've lost four (out of 25). We're treating them for coccidiosis about like you'd treat for worms, b/c they're both parasites.
I'm expecting eggs Thurs and an incubator Fri. I'll put some of my eggs in the 'bator too, and I'll have chicks at the beginning of Nov. =D Super excited about that! It's been sooooooooooooo loooooooooooong since I've hatched!!!
What are you up to these days?

Not very well, there were over a hundred birds there so I didn't expect anything.

Yup. Taken a run to the auction this Saturday, the Faverolles I hatched this year really don't look good, a lot have slip wing which is a dq.
