Didn't they made Mr Pibb? Nasty ick!

I remember the old days of drinking Pepsi and it was soooooooo good ice cold. Now I have to go out and find me a sample of the Pepsi Throwback. Is it still available or did I miss it? What does the container look like?

Now might be for take out pizza and Pepsi!

All Pepsi and Coke is made with real sugar OUTSIDE of the USA. Many countries have banned genetically modified corn so they can't use the HFCS.

Looks like the jokes on us!

Haven't had a soft drink with sugar or corn syrup in it since I was a teenager. Never liked Pepsi anyway, but now, when I have my one a day, it's Diet Rite...no sugar, no sodium, no aspartame, no caffeine...and no nutrition, either, LOL. If I drink more than one a day, I get chest pains.

Found a few stores have the Pepsi Throwbacks, in 20 oz bottle. So I can split it with hubby and DD and we can have a refreshing taste!

If many people like it, would PepsiCo make them back on the market?

Hi! I think that is interesting. It must take a sophisticated palate to distinguish between cane sugar/syrup and corn syrup in a soda.
I grew in a house where 'soda/colas' were not available --- we had milk and water with meals but had a choice of fruit juice, tea, or water just to drink in between.
We were encouraged to drink water (being lactose intolerant, I had no problem with that).
Every time we visit, I'm surprised to see my neices and nephews slurping soft drinks (colas) like fish out of water. If you offer these children (ages 3 - 15) a glass of water, they look at you as if you must be dense. WATER???
Where does this fit in this discussion?? I don't know.

Good luck stocking up on whatever keeps your taste buds happy.

In a way, I consider sodas, cokes, pops...whatever you want to call them....adult beverages. I was in my teens before I was allowed sodas. However, I can remember quite clearly my dad giving me irish coffees after a fine meal at a restaurant when I was about 10. I can't remember whether he ordered them for me or whether he snuck em to me after ordering. Irish coffee as in having irish whiskey in it. I drank mimosas at every brunch Dad would take us to.
Sugar and other sweeteners (besides honey) never touched my kids lips until age 5, about the time they got their very first piece of candy. Sodas were not allowed until after they were in school and then only as a rare treat. Tea and water were all that was available at home.
Now I see my DSD filling our GS's sippy cup with Dr. Pepper and I want to hide because I know he'll be boucing off the walls in no time at all.
Now I'm an adult and don't drink alcohol at all, but I will be buying more Pepsi throwbacks today.
