You didn't happen to get a white silkie and and easter egger in Hudson last summer/fall did you? I just looked at the little girl in your avatar and realized she looked like the little girl who fell in love with our chickens...

nope. I have 4 buff orps that came from MPC in May. I WISH I had an easter egger - I'd love those blue eggs! My little one is Nora, age 4, and she IS in love with the chickens...

Well, she is a cutiebug!! Remind me tomorrow, and we'll ask Michael if he would consider letting one of our EE girls go. They were Spring 08 hatch so they should have plenty of blue/green eggs left in 'em!

There is something about a package of brown and blue eggs that just makes ya smile! Besides, I know I'll be getting more EE girls this spring.

Hey spooky, Yep i was home all day in bed with a cold

I got up briefly this morning and ended up going back to bed. Let me know if you would still like to pick them up tonight, i'll be here looking like the living dead lol
