As for the eye scratching, my duck ming mei has to wear shoes everyday because of her feet problems, and she has two pairs of closed toe shoes. She'll soon get more. It's okay if they can't scratch their eyes while they have shoes on as long as they can clean their eyes out in a.) the water source, as long as it's deep enough for that, and B.) they get to bathe without shoes on. In my instructions, I make sure to let people know they have to have the shoes off in order to bathe, so they don't get water logged or so the shoes don't become to heavy. If they can bathe once a day, their eyes will be fine.

I have been trying to figure out how to get a duck to wear a hat, lol... I've been working on a few ideas. lol. Pants would be quite a challenge, but a tie.... hmmmm..... lol. I have visions of my Victor duck wearing a tie.... lol. Now i'll have to try it....
