a couple of mine dubbed themself this winter. well, they didnt the cold did. poor little things. didnt seem to hurt them but who knows?

Oh, don't do it!! If you have good ventilation and have them roost low to the ground, vents in the roof or eaves, use vaseline if you have to on the combs, they can do ok usually.
