Mine's Nyx. She's a cutie.


I also have a blue hen named Clover, a chick named Gizmo, and a really poorly built, but very hardy barred pullet named Tonka that lives out with my large fowl. haha

She is cute!! I wish I could find another splash for mines, I just got him 4 red Pyle and 4 black breasted moderns they still are one day olds so I have to wait to give them names and sex them

id love to see adults from ideal. Im curious as to their quality. I understand they are hatchery birds but curious how they look.

Hey guys, I mainly stick around the House Chickens thread, but figured I would say hi!

I have an MGB named Enzo (because she races around everywhere she goes). She's the most human-like bird I've ever seen. Sweet as can be, and has decided she will only be a house pet. We have plenty of other chickens, but she has zero interest in being around them. Instead, she prefers people.


She hatched on 11/26, and I'm trying to figure out what exactly she is. I was thinking Lemon Blue, but I dunno. I figured I'd ask the experts.

Hi, Your little MGB is not a Lemon Blue unless the light in the photos is tricking me. She looks more like a Brown Red, but not exactly right for that either. She may be a mix of color varieties.
As far as personality goes, you can't go wrong with the Moderns. Have fun with her!

She doesn't quite fit into any of the colors I've seen, so that had me wondering. I love this adorable little monster, and it really surprises me that they aren't more popular. What a huge personality! I'm not sure if she thinks she's a dog or a person, but she gets along wonderfully with every non-chicken in my house, and is on my heels everywhere I go.

Oh, and on top of that... She's decided that she will NOT sleep in her coop. Instead, she has decided the best place to sleep is on the bookshelf in the master bedroom.
