Modern game bantams...

I set thirty-four eggs in my incubator and some of them are Modern Games. I'm excited to see them! They would not have been a breed I would ever have thought of getting, but now that I may have some on the way I am intrigued. They are just so... different... and cute!

So are the hatchery grade moderns of good quality does anyone one know...i ordered some malay and s aipans from ideal and thought I would get on their waiting list for moderns. I know their orientals aren't great but how about these little guys?

this is my modern game, he is a funny cool interesting little fella. When I run away from him he chases me flapping his wings and doing little hops he also try's to intimidate some birds that get near his food when I let him free range. He always cracks me up, unfortunately when I got him he was the last modern game the store had and I haven't had any luck getting him another companion of the same breed

They vary. I bought several chicks from Ideal year before last. Most of the chicks turned out to be less than great quality. I did get one pullet that won Reserve Modern at our State Fair (an APA/ABA show). She was my only black. I don't know if that means their black line is better quality, or if she just happened to be.
