Is there any way that the primer could be set up that they would have to read it and hit the "I accept" button before they would be able to log on to the site? You know like the software people do? (Not that we always read all the fine print there, but the primer would be a lot more interesting!)

I think this is a great idea. I have to agree with everyone else that has said this is a great user friendly forum.

but maybe you could post a link in that area when you are filling our all of your info to confirm your joining. Make it sound friendly like "click here for directions on navigating through the forums" or something or other along those lines.

I'll be around more later and I'll take a look at what's already been done to see if there's anything useful I can add, but I think the main focus needs to be on how to start your own thread. That's the thing that gets missed more than anything, IMO. Other than that the FAQs page seems to cover it all pretty well.

GREAT start, houndit! I like the many screenshots -- If Kooshie could supply some "prettier" ;-) ones, I'd be happy to edit for spelling. (No offense, it happens to be something I'm good at, UNLIKE creating a Google document!) I agree that an obvious "Don't be shy - post your question here"-type button would be a good thing. I could be wrong, but I'll bet there are others who are like me and were intimidated by the idea of "starting a new thread" -- LOL! I thought it sounded way too important for my little ol' question, when I could just ask it by posting a "reply." (Not realizing the disadvantages to "hijacking.")

Yeah the screenshots could be better...i know how to just capture the screen without taking a pic...much more clearer.....let me know if you need help, i could do it if you need me too...
