"Ah," she responded, her black mane swaying in the breeze. Her dark, curved, slender body stood at attention, despite the sadness inside. Dahlia was almost literally being eaten away by her worries. The little mare couldn't bear losing her mate. "If you change your mind, just come to me. I'm willing to help..." She turned her back, her tail still held high. In the same gate she approached the stallion in, Dahlia trotted off to the others in her herd.
