Shadow walked up to Claire, and Apollo.

Yang stuck her head out of a tall shrub. "Apollo?" she asked. She looked at Claire accusingly.

Claire sighed with relief. "Hello again." She said in her usual kind voice. Apollo started to relax when he saw Shadow. But then he went back to trying to escape, he wanted to go with Shadow, he wanted to find his mother.

Shadow walked up to Apollo, ignoring the little girl, and started biting his lead off.

"Wait! What are you doing!" Claire tried to push Shadow away. "Stop! Stop!"

Shadow looked at her confused, and went back to biting the lead. "It's okay Apollo, I'll get you out!".

Yang stood by, wondering what would happen.

Apollo started to jump up and down with excitement. He would be able to find his mother now.

Claire couldn't believe her eyes. The horse was stealing her colt away, and she didn't know why. Her eyes welled up with tears. She tried in vain to make Shadow stop. "Please, please, stop." She said weakly.

Shadow finished biting, and set Apollo free. She turned to Claire, and nuzzled her happily.

Claire pushed her away and went to fetch Apollo who was prancing around. "Come here Apollo!"
