Shadow ran, and pushed Apollo towards her foals. "Stay away from her honey..." She said kindly. She started growling at Claire, threatening to bite.

Claire started crying and called to Apollo sadly. "Apollo, please, come, here." She sank to her knees and put her head in her hands, sobbing.

Shadow stopped her growling, and put her head on Claire's stomach. She started pushing her back out of SkyHerd very softly. "Apollo, I will take care of you until we find your mom!".

Aiden had come to watch. As he wondered what was happening, he stepped on something sharp. Hopping away from it, he saw that the sharp stick was extremely shiny. He picked up the knife in his teeth and tilted it this way and that to catch the sun.

Claire stood up and went back to her home, crying the entire time.
