Shadow lay next to him, and continued to lick the beads of sweat on his forehead.

Ooh... That's gotta hurt. I once bruised my tailbone badly in a sledding "accident". They had built a ramp out of snow. The first time I went down, I collapsed in the snow and was fine. 2nd time, I landed REALLY hard on my tailbone. I was trying not to cry...
