I agree that some irresponsible folks may buy the animals, not thinking about long term care, but they do that with uncolored animals, too. I don't see what's cruel about dying the animals, though. It causes no harm to them.

I did not say its all cruel. Just buying the animal for its color. I saw colored dogs horses and things like that. I would never buy a blue horse or a purple cat for a kid.

I just like a natural animal

I don't see what point you were trying to prove? That people who love and take care of their pets are all of a sudden abusers because they manic panicked their puppy or dyed their pigeons?

Well, I think everyone knows that animals are not naturally colored pink, purple, sky blue, neon green or neon yellow. It just makes the animal look different for a while.

About the clothes part: some people go crazy with it but its their money and they are not hurting them. I have two poodles and one is very cold natured so yes he has sweaters and shirts just like cold natured humans so its not a waste of money to me or him.

I like my animals to have the natural look as well. I don't like to see colored animals either, I don't think the dye is physically cruel, but I see the point that people will impulse buy if it something colored purple or pink. So I see the point trying to be made because many of these animals later get dumped.

I have show dogs as I've mentioned before so I appreciate the good care and grooming of an animal and respect the people that spend hours and hours on their dogs, but when I see one that is colored it tends to turn me off.

My two cents.

Inuyashalover don't be offended by differing opinions, that's what makes this country great. Stand by what you believe and don't back down if this is truly how YOU feel.
