Home of Space Ship One, The Voyager, Breaking the Sound Bearier, Joshua Trees and 350 clear days a year! You can also see for 40 miles in any direction.

Summer is 110+, winter doesn't really start until after Thanks giving, the night time temp in winter is usually no less than 20 degrees and humidity is about 5% or less all year long.

I live just outside of the town of Mojave but that is part of the greater "Antelope Valley" which also contains Lancaster and Palmdale.

I spent a couple of years at China Lake. I remember running from shadow to shadow and leaving black footprints where my flip-flops had melted on the pavement.
