Mold/mildew everywhere!

I wouldn't worry too much about the outside...looks mostly like staining.
The fuzzy stuff on the inside, might try vacuuming it off(shop vac with bristle brush attachment) then wiping with a mild bleach or vinegar solution...just to keep it in check until things get dry enough to paint.

You might have to set some thing up for birds for a couple days while paint/whitewash dries.

Shop vac, great idea! The white wash is low fume, but now I’m wondering if I should maybe do a more washable paint?

Depends on if you want to repeat white wash every year(or two?),
or just be able to wipe down surfaces to 'clean'.
I think the white wash might deter the mildew also.

I don’t mind reapplying, and I just did some ‘googling’ and saw that whitewash can deter mold growth as well as being low VOC, so that’s pretty good! Now if we could get those dry days back, I’ll be golden... sort of.

I don't know who dry the wood needs to be for whitewash to be effectively applied.
Just because there's some mildew growing doesn't mean the wood is saturated with enough moisture for the whitewash not to adhere and/or soak in a bit.
I'm guessing it would be much easier to apply than any paint.

I’ve been dealing with mildew in VA this summer too - I’m so sick of rain!!! I had success with a mild bleach solution. 24 oz water, 3 tsp baking soda, 3 TBLS bleach. I mix it in a spray bottle then use it on wood, concrete, linoleum - pretty much any surface that starts to show signs of mildew.
