Molting Chickens

I have one chicken, a house girl, she is now molting and her layer pellets are only 16% protein. We have a ton of it so I don't really want to switch feeds. What extra protein stuff can I add to her diet and how long will this go on?

Scrambled or hard boiled eggs, peanut butter, black oil sunflower seeds, mealworms. I've heard of adding molasses and Chia seeds too. You could also look at getting a supplement like calf manna.
