Molting gander

Is it normal for my gander to be molting this early in the season? They have been breeding since early January. He’s a dewlap toulouse and about one year old.

Mine usually molt at end of breeding season in June. Maybe @Iain Utah can weigh in she has Dewlap Toulouse.
