Molting Hen being bullied

I’ve noticed in the last two days that my hen that is molting (I think she’s low on the pecking order) is being bullied by another hen. She’s afraid to leave the coop, only coming into the run when I’m in the coop to protect her, which is a bit surprising because we do have a rooster. I’m thinking of separating her inside the run in a large dog crate with her own food and water so that “introducing” her back into the flock will be easier. Anything else that I should try/look out for? I’m afraid that if I don’t step in, she might not make it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
