Molting: is it normal for Silkies to molt after brooding ??

I need help. My silkie is pulling out all of her feathers. She does this every time she is finished brooding. Is this molting? I'd like to know if my chicken is in distress.

Is she actually pulling them out? If they are just falling out, that is normal molting. If she's plucking them, that's not normal, as far as I know. Check her for mites/lice, or see if her skin looks irritated.

I think it's both! There's too many feathers.....although she is constantly picking at herself to. She is a house chicken but she does spend daytime outside with the other chickens. I did check for mites ,there were no sign of them, and her skin looks fine. She has a Lot of stubs and I think that maybe wast bothering her.
