Ummm, yeah....saddle wont help her, I think it would slip right off poor ugly, she needs a sweater or something! I wonder if theres a pattern for chicken clothes, like suggested, a whole union suit! She must be cold!

No tears for "Ugly", she is a california girl and it gets hot in the desert. It is just now starting to cool off at night...I mean 10pm or so. In the day
it is mostly in the 90's here. Just starting to go into the 80's. I think her Breed is truely the self plucked chicken. Or maybe the Chicken Snack Breed. No to hard to pluck.

Like clockwork, she drops them all at about the same time. All the other girls you can hardly even notice.

An EE that lays green eggs. I bought her along with a couple RIR's for a game hen I had that always went broody and loved raising babies. I would switch the eggs for live chicks when she wasn't looking, and she'd come back thinking the eggs hatched!

UGLY is the saddest thing I ever saw. If one of my chickens did that, my husband would tell me to kill it.

Rusty is starting to molt.. I will get a picture soon.
