I've been noticing feathers all over my chicken yard and figured my ladies were just molting. I have one hen that has a bald spot on her back just above her tail. Well yesterday evening i went out and noticed on two other hens that their necks were getting bare. I've kinda started thinking that Mr. Rooster is getting a little rough with the ladies. What should I do?

It sounds like he is getting a bit on the rough side. You could do a few things:
A) get rid of him
B) put saddles on your hens
C) add more hens
Personally,if he is just there to be there and just be with the ladies, then I would just cull/replace him. If he is an actual rooster you want for breeding purposes then I would go with the saddle thing or add a couple more hens.

I have 10 hens and 1 rooster. I believe only 3 or 4 of the hens are missing feathers. I know 1 of the hens will not let him mount, my guess is because he is too rough. What do you mean by putting a saddle on the hen? I am actually thinking about replacing him this year when I replace my hens. Thank you for your post.
