They were in the pullet bin. I am clueless about chicks and they had no idea what they were. We wanted a barred rock (love my 2 month old and wanted more). Can someone tell me what these girls might be?

So our plan is to keep 1 and 3, and give 2 to the guy that gave us the hens (and one of our EE chicks that are 3 weeks old and any roos)

But we may change our mind depending on the breeds.

#1- Either a Mottled Ancona or a Mottled Java

#2- Partridge Rock

#3- Could be any number of things. Can't see the comb, but I'm guessing Black Australorp or Black Jersey Giant

#3 is more than likely a Black Australorp. Black Jersey Giants have a yellowish tint on the underside of their feet. The underside of this chick's feet are clearly pinkish.

so i think I would guess that #1 is ancona and #3 australorp #2 well I think a barnvelder but I am new to chickens but am sure that someone will be able to help more...I love all of them

Chick feet are highly unpredictable and likely to change, you must keep that in mind

Black Minorcas also have pinkish white feet and are another possibility.

Chick is too light in color to be a Barnevelder...

Sorry for the misinformation, I didn't mean to cause any confusion.

LOL, thank you!

So will I need to wait until they are older to know for sure? Cause I am getting a lot of different names? I am so clueless.

Man I knew my stuff with cockatiels. I used to tell the percentage of chick that would have a certain color and be able to sex them as soon as a few feathers started coming. I hate not knowing anything lol!

At least I "know" these are pullets, or 90% sure they are lol. They were wing banded.
