A duck and a goose can live together. If your thinking of breeding them, I'm not sure it's possible.

What about two of each

And Mom usually wins... At least in my house as Mom ends up taking care of the animals, even when kids have great thoughts and ambitions (and sometimes the Dad is included with the kids- we have a bunny to prove this theory).

no breeding wanted. I only have a 75x120 lot so 2 of each might really pi** my neighbors off. No roos for that reason. Had lady ducks before so quack is not a prob. Are geese much louder than say a Pekin duck?

I've never met a goose or gander that wasn't louder than a duck. They are usually extremely loud! Some breeds of geese aren't as shrill as others. Don't get an African or Chinese if noise is an issue, that's for sure. Females will be quieter than males, but they can get loud, too.

A duck and a goose can get along fine. If you were to raise them together you might want a larger duck breed and a smaller goose breed. Yes, geese can be pretty noisy. Our geese are next to the barn, a square acre could fit between there and our house, and sometimes we can hear them with the windows closed. They are pilgrim geese, which is not considered one of the noisier breeds. A goose may greet anyone who passes by with a big honk.
