yea Linda. I can't wipe the grin off my face. Their box is inside warming up next to the pellet stove already. Just plugged in the heat lamp to make sure it works. I am kind of nervous as how to keep them warm enough on the ride home from the hatchery. It is supposed to be 18 degrees out and I have an hour drive. I am going to go dig up some of my heat packs that i use in my gloves and boots when I am outside. Maybe wrap their box they put them in with a blanket, put them on the floor wiht the heater on hight, hot and on the floor. I hope that's good enough.....

They will be fine for the trip. I've brought chicks home from my favorite feed store 48 miles away but an hour on the road, using my heater the entire way. It's no different for them than if momma got off the nest for a good, long constitutional. Plus they'll have each other, y'know!
