momma hen hatched one egg now not sitting on other eggs

i have a momma hen that has managed to hatch one chick out so far and now she has been running arround the yard with the chick and not sitting so much. will the eggs still hatch with out her sitting on them?? or what should i do? i candled them and there are moving chicks in there.

i think that you should take 'em out just to be on the safe side!! good luck!!! is there anyway that you could post a pic. because i have a broody hen that has 6 eggs that are all different dated eggs! so lol i would like to see what she looks like lol just because i dont have an inubator and dont really want to burry babys when the are still in the egg!!

I would take the chick and make her go back and finish her job! Pen her in where she belongs. You can put the chick back under her at night after more hatch.
Some chickens have such birdbrains!

I agree! It is easier to warm a chick in a brooder than to try to incubate those eggs yourself.
