I need to order my wintertime berkies soon, clogs instead of summer's open toed. I love em, but I don't wear em with socks.

Heck no. I only wear shoes outside for three months anyhow - December, January and February.

I used to get yelled at all the time for going barefoot in the snow when i lived up north... never bothered me any... used to drive everyone else nuts though...

Seriously, I hate shoes. I own two pairs of berkies, one pair of sneakers and a pair of flats for dress up. They all come off asap after they are needed. I can't drive a car wearing shoes; I simply can't.

As a kid I never wore shoes from the time school was out until it started in the fall. Even today shoes are worn only when absolutely necessary.

OMG! I'm a monkey toe too! It's getting much harder to do though since my balance is getting bad. I used to be able to pick up a dime with my toes.
