How old are you SLW. I have 2 around 24 weeks. They've been laying around a month now. Most every day. But still staying around the 50 gram mark. Did you weigh that egg? Wow hope my girls can get that size. My 2 SLW have really filled out and gotten quite a bit bigger since I got them around T-day at 16 weeks. Nice egg.
I only have the one. She is just at one year next month. Seems the older she gets, the bigger the egg gets. Good luck with yours.
I'm getting tasty eggs from them so I'm not gonna complain. My BO and ISAB are in their second year so I'm trying to prepare for their non laying years. Guess I got about a year for my 2 SLW. They are so funny. When they want to lay an egg they go crazy. They run up into the coop squawking and run from nest box to nest box. Can't decide which one to lay in. I say get in one and be done. LOL I'm surprised they make into a nest box. Look like little kids who need to go to the potty. Wait til the last minute.
We really need an acronym glossary. What is an ISAB and a SLW?
